MELISSA HALE

Canadian singer-songwriter-musician & producer, Melissa Hale is finally finding her way through the scruffy city of Knoxville, TN.  After years of diving into all things music, gigging in Downtown Toronto at places like the El Macambo, Hugh's Room and The Opera House while also being an artist manager, her mind got the best of her and music was put on the shelf. After much needed time of wandering, healing, finding her worth in God, and discovering that nothing else struck as deep, she came full circle back into music with a mindset of grace.  Melissa has found herself flowing in both Christian and mainstream spaces as her songwriting and style has pushed itself in both areas. She hopes to build deeper community through her songwriting, live playing & community building in all music spaces. She is founder and curator of Writers 'Round Knoxville that has been a space of cultivating music community in Knoxville and Worship Pastor at Awaken Old City Church. Her debut album is currently in the works that was entirely crowdfunded and she is co-producing it with her husband.  It’s been a HALE of a journey to get here…Wanna ride shotgun?
